Make easy fresh compost that smell good

Some people love the idea of composting but don’t do it because it’s too much trouble. Some people are willing to make the effort but can’t stand the smell or fruit flies. What if there is an efficient way to make compost at home that actually smells good and doesn’t attract fruit flies at all, unlike common methods?

  • You need tupperware for your food scraps. Collect and put away in the fridge after each food prep.
  • You can store or transfer the tupperware of food scraps to the freezer it takes a long time to fill up or it takes a long time to proceed to step 2.
  • Fruits, veggies and egg shells are great. Animal protein is better limited. No large hard fruit pits if you don’t have a powerful blender.

Step 2: Blend

  • Use a blender. Add food scraps and enough water to blend to a pesto or thick smoothie consistency.
  • The best timing to blend is to do it after you just use your blender for smoothie or other food, so no extra blender jar cleaning is needed.
